Beatrice and Bert Liles Scholarship Fund

The Beatrice and Bert Liles Scholarship was established by Dorothy Liles in memory of her parents. Bert Liles was born July 1893 in New York as the oldest child and served in the Navy during World War I. In August 1920, Bert married Beatrice White of Wabash, Indiana. Bert passed in 1954 and Beatrice passed in 1969. The Beatrice and Bert Liles Scholarship Fund awards two scholarships of equal value. One scholarship to a junior or senior majoring in art or music and another one scholarship to a female junior or senior majoring in math or science. Unmet financial need is a requirement for both scholarships as well as good scholarship potential and/or ability.
