Col. Charles L. and Mary G. Collins ROTC Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2004 by Col. Charles L. Collins. Collins was born in Ellabell, Georgia in 1925 and served in World War II when he was drafted at the age of fifteen. Col. Collins served in the Air Corps. He graduated from Armstrong College in 1950 with a degree in Liberal Arts. He passed in 2008.
The Colonel Charles L. and Mary G. Collins ROTC Leadership Scholarship is used to support the ROTC program on the Armstrong Campus.

Four-time recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Award, presented to the top ROTC program from each of the eight brigades. (2009, 2010, 2015, and 2016)
One of the largest non-military college Army ROTC programs in the country.
One of the top producers of Army Nurses nationwide.
The Green to Gold counterpart battalion for both Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield.
Meeting or exceeding the required number of Army Commissioned Officers for over the last decade, one of only a handful in the country to do so.
