Cynthia Ann Floyd Sikes Mathematics Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2007 by Colonel Charles D. Sikes in honor of his wife, Cynthia Ann Floyd Sikes, upon her retirement from Georgia Southern’s Department of Mathematical Sciences. Sikes taught for over thirty years. First preference for the scholarship should be given to a female candidate who is either full or part time enrolled in the Master of Science in Mathematics (MS) Program. The recipient should have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in all mathematics courses attempted at the graduate level. Second preference may be given to a male candidate meeting the same criteria. Third preference may be given to any undergraduate student in the Mathematical Sciences program.
