Cynthia Ann Floyd Sikes Mathematics Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2007 by Colonel Charles D. Sikes in honor of his wife, Cynthia Ann Floyd Sikes, upon her retirement from Georgia Southern’s Department of Mathematical Sciences. Sikes taught for over thirty years. The recipient should have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in all mathematics courses attempted at the graduate level. Should no qualified recipient be found, the scholarship may be given to any undergraduate student in the Mathematical Sciences program.
