David Boston and Ella Courtenay Morgan Endowment

This scholarship was established in memory of David Boston and Ella Courtenay Morgan. David Boston was born in July of 1894 in Savannah, Georgia and passed in April of 1968. Ella Courtenay Morgan was born in June of 1900 in Savannah, Georgia and passed in May of 1972. Their daughter, Elizabeth, graduated from Armstrong Junior College in 1942 and their granddaughter, Catherine Courtenay Derst, graduated from Armstrong State College in 1976. This scholarship is available to student enrolled in the School of Nursing on the Armstrong Campus.

The scholarship was funded in 2001.
