Ernest Rogers Anderson Scholarship
Established in 1992 by friends and family, this scholarship memorializes the life of South Georgia Teachers College almnus and former school superintendent of Peach County, Ernest Rogers Anderson. Born in Wrens, Georgia in 1914, Anderson graduated from the Wrens Institute in 1933 and earned his Masters of Education from Duke University in 1941. He served as superintendent for Fort Valley High School for over four decades. This scholarship is available to traditional students who are graduates of Peach County Public High School. Students must be enrolled full-time and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
