Joseph A. and Marilyn M. Buck Leadership Endowment

Established in 2006, this scholarship is available to two students every year, one with a declared major in the College of Education and one with a declared major in the Waters College of Health Professions. Marilyn M. Buck graduated from Armstrong State College and went on to also attend Boston University, the University of South Carolina, and the Medical College of Georgia. Joseph A. Buck attended Auburn University, Florida State University, and the University of Georgia. He has served on the Savannah-Chatham County School Board and served as Professor Emeritus and Vice President of Student Affairs at the Armstrong Campus. Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled full-time with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and should be of exemplary character while having demonstrated leadership qualities in the past or potential leadership for the future.
