L.E. "Sonny" Deavours University Honors Program Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1998 by the late L.E. “Sonny” Deavours. Deavours graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1968 with a degree in General Business. He was a member of the Atlanta Eagle Club, Charter 1906 Society, and Alumni Association. During his life, Mr. Deavours owned Brayson Homes, one of the largest builders in the Atlanta area. Family and friends remember him as a dedicated individual who loved philanthropy, family, and his religion. This scholarship is available to members of the University Honors Program.
