McPherson Foundation Scholarship

Established in 2005 by Jay McPherson, this scholarship is available to students demonstrating financial need from Jeff Davis County. A Hazlehurst native, McPherson graduated from Georgia Southern with a degree in Management in 1982 and went on to work for Universal Tool, LLC. McPherson has been a long-time supporter of Georgia Southern and has contributed to areas on campus such as the Greater University Fund, GSU Athletic Foundation, Inc., and the Business Innovation Group.
