Mike and Danna Sanders University Honors Program Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2006 by Georgia Southern University alums, Mike and Dana Sanders. Mike Sanders graduated from Georgia Southern in 1981 with a degree in Marketing and now serves as Senior Vice President of Investments at UBS Financial Services. While at Georgia Southern, he was a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon. In 2015, Mr. Sanders was named Alumni of the Year for his charitable works. He has served as Touchdown Club President at his local high school, served as football stadium announcer at two local high schools, served as deacon at Smokerise Baptist Church, is a member of the 1906 Society, served as past President of the Retail Securities Brokers of Georgia, was a former member of the Georgia Securities Association Board of Directors for Georgia Southern University, is on the Parker College of Business Administration Advisory Board, and served on the Georgia Southern Athletics Foundation Board. He was instrumental in the formation of the Atlanta Chapter of Southern Boosters and in the planning and fundraising of the Ted Smith Family Football Operations Center. Mrs. Sanders graduated from Georgia Southern in 1981 with a degree in Foods and Nutrition. This scholarship is available to members of the University Honors Program.
