Nelson Dow/Dana Kastory Southeastern Prepress Association Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1993 by the Southeastern Prepress Association (SPA) in honor of its founder Nelson P. Dow and its Executive Director and Nelson’s daughter, Dana Dow Kastory. The Dow’s are recognized nationally as prepress pioneers. Nelson Dow was born in 1901 in Texas and founded The Cappers Engraving Co. in 1929 and became the editor of “The Spotting The News”, a trade magazine.
