Nona Quinn Bunce Music Scholarship

Officially established in 2000, this scholarship is in honor of the Bunce family and their legacy at Georgia Southern University as well as Nona Bunce’s love of music. James Arthur Bunce, Nona’s father-in-law, was in the first class to ever graduate from Georgia Southern in 1910. This scholarship was created by Isaac and Nona Bunce in honor of their father and father-in-law respectively, as well as Jessie Newton Bruce, Isaac Bunce’s mother. Nona served a music educator during her lifetime until her passing in 2009. This scholarship is available to students pursuing a degree in Music. First preference will be given to Music majoring participating in the Statesboro/Georgia Southern Symphony.

Scholarships
