Rosalind D. Ragans Art Scholarship

Established in 1990 by Dr. Rosalind D. Ragans, this scholarship is available to students majoring in art. Dr. Ragans served as an associate professor at Marvin Pittman Laboratory School after earning her BFA from Hunter College in New York in 1955, an Med from Georgia Southern College in 1967, and an ED from the University of Georgia in 1971. Upon her retirement, Dr. Ragans was serving as associate professor emerita of art education. She penned several books during her lifetime including Arttalk and Exploring Art and Understing Art, all of which are textbooks.
