Terrell T. Reddick Rotary Honors Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2001 by the Statesboro Rotary Club in memory of Terrell T. Reddick. Mr. Reddick was born in Bulloch County and graduated from Portal High School in 1965 and Georgia Southern College in 1969. Following graduation from Georgia Military Institution in Milledgeville, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1970. In 1998, Mr. Reddick graduated from the U.S. Army War College and he served in the Georgia National Guard for over forty years as a Deputy Commanding General. Mr. Reddick also served as a managing partner of Reddick, Riggs, Hunter, and Kennedy, Certified Public Accountants where he practiced public accounting for over thirty-seven years. He served in many leadership positions such as President of the Rotary Club of Statesboro, President of the Statesboro-Bulloch County Chamber of Commerce, and President of the of the Rotary Club of Downtown Statesboro. He is also an ordained deacon and previously served as church treasurer for many years. The National Guard Association of Georgia presents an annual award to young junior officers named the “Reddick Leader Award”. This scholarship is available to members of the University Honors Program.
