The Jernigan Family Scholarship Fund

The Jill Jernigan University Honors Program Scholarship was established in 1998 by Mr. Jeff and Mrs. Jill Jernigan. Mr. Jernigan graduated in 1983 with a BET Mechanical Engineering degree and Mrs. Jernigan graduated in 1983 with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. Mr. Jernigan works as Executive Vice President of Pinkerton and Laws, a leading Atlanta-based construction company while Mrs. Jernigan worked as a teacher with the Cobb County Board of Education. Mr. Jernigan has served on the Advisory Board for Construction Management. This scholarship is available to members of the University Honors Program. First preference shall be given to students majoring in Education. Second preference shall be given to students majoring in Construction Management and third preference shall be given to students majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
