William T. Herring MBA Scholarship
Mr. Bill Herring studied management at Southern Methodist University. He now lives in Statesboro and is involved in Georgia Southern in many ways including as a scholarship donor.
A candidate must be a full-time, campus based, MBA student not having a full time job. First preference shall be given to students with an undergraduate degree in an area other than business. Second preference shall be given to students with at least one year of work experience prior to enrolling in the MBA program.
At Georgia Southern, students are chosen based on how their backgrounds, academic interests, and other qualities match the designation of the given scholarship, fellowship, or prize fund. Georgia Southern works closely with Financial Aid, Admissions and the College of Graduate Studies and more to ensure that student recipients are selected based on the intent of the fund and the wishes of the donor.
