Dorothy F. Lee Scholarship

The scholarship was established in 1988 by the Theatre Program in honor of Dorothy Lee, the former director of the college’s student performance troupe. Ms. Lee, who began her tenure at Georgia Teachers College in 1953, retired in 1981. She was a professor of speech. Criteria for the Dorothy F. Lee Scholarship should include the applicant’s potential for service to the Theatre Program, demonstrated talents, and motivating interests relating to theatre. The applicant must be a full time student majoring in theatre and be an undergraduate and/or graduate student.
