Clarence W. McCord Scholarship

The Clarence W. McCord Scholarship was established in 2003 by the Department of Communication Arts in honor of Dr. McCord’s years of service and dedicated leadership in the Department of Communication Arts at Georgia Southern. The scholarship may be offered to students who are pursuing any degree in the Communication Arts department. Students must be enrolled full time at the time they receive the scholarship and must maintain full time enrollment throughout the award period. Students must remain in good academic standing with the University and the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and maintain a GPA of at least a 3.0.
