Georgia Southern University Wounded Eagle Fund

MILITARY RESOURCE CENTER: Established by James H., Deborah B., and Jason F. Van Epps to support Georgia Southern University and current or former members of the United States Armed Forces or immediate family members (spouse or children) who are University students.

Recipients of the funds must be University students who are currently serving or who are former members of any branch of the U. S. military or to immediate family members (spouse or children). The student recipient should be enrolled full time for the academic year during Fall and Spring Semesters and can be an undergraduate or graduate level student. The minimum cumulative GPA to be considered for the award is a 3.0. First preference for the award will be given to disabled veterans, Purple Heart recipients, or veterans who are undergoing demonstrated unforeseen hardships.

A minimum of three $1,000.00 awards are to be given each academic year.
