Planters Telephone Foundation Effingham County Scholarship

The scholarship was established in 1993 by the Planters Telephone Foundation. Planters Rural Telephone Cooperative Inc. was founded in 1951 to serve rural telephone customers in Effingham county. The Foundation was founded in 1991 to provide charitable support to people living in these areas. This scholarship is one of several service areas supported by the Foundation. First preference for the Planters Telephone Foundation Effingham County Scholarship should be given to graduates of Effingham County High Schools who are attending Georgia Southern University.
