Planters Telephone Foundation Screven County Scholarship

Established in 1993 by the Planters Telephone Foundation, this scholarship is available to incoming freshmen who are graduates of Screven County High School. Founded in 1951, the Planters Rural Telephone Cooperative Inc. was founded in 1951 to serve rural telephone customers in Effingham and Screven counties. The Foundation was created in 1991 to provide charitable support to people living in these counties. This scholarship is one of many charitable efforts chartered by the Foundation.
