Katie and Tanner Miller/Van Tassell Family Graduate Scholarship

Originally created in 1984, the goal of the Katie and Tanner Miller/Van Tassell Family Scholarship is to support seniors majoring in Political Science with an average GPA of 3.0. This scholarship was created in the memory of Katie and Tanner Miller, children of Stephen and Dawn Miller, and the grandchildren of Lane and Christine Van Tassell. Dr. Van Tassell was a former professor and dean of the university and Mrs. Van Tassell graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1966.
