Bhatia Foundation Scholarship: Computer Science

Dr. Sarvan Bhatia and Prem L. Bhatia established the Bhatia Foundation Scholarship in 2007 to aid international students majoring in Computer Science. The late Dr. Sarvan Bhatia faced adversity as he immigrated from India in the 1940’s, but he persevered with a belief of caring for others. Also from India, Prem L. Bhatia helped establish the Bhatia Foundation, Inc. which offers aid to students in need. The Bhatia Foundation, Inc. has supported students from the Department of Nursing, College of Education, and Department of Computer Technology.
