Hazelle B. Tuthill American History Endowment

Established in 1986 by the Savannah chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, this scholarship memorializes the life of Hazelle B. Tuthill. Born in June of 1893 in South Carolina, Tuthill attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her B.S. and Tulane University where she acquired her M.A. Tuthill served as a history and sociology teacher at Savannah High School for most of her life. This scholarship is available to students majoring in History with a concentration in American History. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
