Victor, Rebecca and Richard Persico Scholarship in Anthropology
This scholarship was originally established in 1993 in memory of Martha Rebecca Persico, wife of Victor Richard Persico Sr. and mother of Dr. Victor Richard Persico Jr., a professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Georgia Southern University. As time has passed, this scholarship has been altered to memorialize all three of these generous donors as they have all passed. This scholarship remembers Rebecca for her lasting memory, Victor Richard Persico Sr. for his service in World War II, and Dr. Victor Richard Persico Jr., for his service at Georgia Southern. This scholarship is available to students majoring in Anthropology with a 3.0 GPA.
