T.J. Morris Company Scholarship
Established in 1982 by T.J. Morris, Jr., the T.J. Morris Company Scholarship is available to students majoring in any field within the Department of Music. The T.J. Morris Company, a food distribution company, expanded in Statesboro when it built warehousing and refrigeration complexes along U.S. Highway 301 South in 1972. Although it was bought by the Nash Finch Company in 1996, it is still owned by the T.J. Morris family to this day, who are Georgia Southern graduates.
