Thomas Spencer McCormick Presidential Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Jeanne McCormick in memory of her late husband, Thomas Spencer McCormick. Thomas McCormick grew up in Savannah, but lived most of his life in Pembroke, Georgia. During his life, he proudly served in the Navy. He worked as a structural steel detailer and put in over twenty-five years of service. Mr. McCormick was a client at the RiteCare Center following a stroke in 2004, until his passing in October 2005. This scholarship endowed in his memory is awarded to two graduate students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program each spring based on academic/clinical merit and financial need.
