Manufacturing Engineering Eagles Scholarship

Dr. Phillip Waldrop taught at Georgia Southern University’s Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Computing for over twenty-four years before he retired in 2011. Before coming to Georgia Southern, Waldrop served in the aerospace industry with a doctorate degree he obtained at Purdue University. Since his retirement, Waldrop has continued his work in the manufacturing community is currently on the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Member Council. This scholarship is available to students majoring in Manufacturing Engineering that are Juniors or Seniors with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
