Joseph Eugene (Gene) and Peggy Marsh Weatherford, Sr. Education Scholarship

Established in 2007 by Michael and Suzanne Graham, this scholarship memorializes and honors Suzanne’s parents, Gene and Peggy Weatherford. Peggy Marsh Weatherford graduated from Georgia Southern in 1947 with a BS in Education and Gene graduated in 1942 with a BSED in Education. Gene passed in 2002. The scholarship is available to rising juniors who have declared a major within the College of Education. Recipient must maintain full time enrollment during the award period.
