Fleming D. Roach, MD Scholarship

PRE-MED STUDENTS ONLY: This scholarship will be awarded equally to two recipients from each of two fields of study. Qualified candidates will be chosen from Pre-medicine and Nursing or Nursing Practitioner. Candidates should be a junior, senior or graduate-level students having an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference may be given to residents of South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. If no outstanding candidate is found from those three states, then another candidate may be chosen. The scholarships shall be awarded annually and prior recipients may reapply in successive years but are not guaranteed annually.
Considerations for the scholarship may include academic records, personal character, demonstrated devotion to their field of study, professional goals and the likelihood of their completion of training and successful careers.
