Paul Kidd Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1992 by the Southeastern Insurance Managers Association (SIMA) as a memorial to Paul Kidd who passed away in 1991. Mr. Kidd was a former president of SIMA and was actively involved in the Georgia Insurance Industry. SIMA chose to establish this scholarship at Georgia Southern University because Mr. Kidd was a strong supporter of the Georgia Southern University risk management program and the Department of Finance and Economics. The recipient of the Paul Kidd Memorial Scholarship must major in finance with an emphasis in risk management/insurance.
