Frank Hook Alumni Scholarship

The Frank Hook Alumni Scholarship was established in 2011 when Frank Hook retired as Director of Alumni Relations at Georgia Southern. Affectionately dubbed “Mr. GSU” Frank Hook embodies Georgia Southern. He began his career with University Athletics before moving over to the position of Director of Alumni Relations. Upon retirement, Frank continued to serve Georgia Southern part time working again for University Athletics. The scholarship is available to the son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, or legal dependent of a agraduate of Georgia Southern. The applicant must be a senior enrolled full time at the time the award is given and must have spent his/her entire junior year at Georgia Southern.
