Bhatia Foundation Scholarship: Mathematics

Dr. Sarvan Bhatia and Prem L. Bhatia established the Bhatia Foundation Scholarship in 2007 to aid international students majoring in Computer Science. The late Dr. Sarvan Bhatia faced adversity as he immigrated from India in the 1940’s, but he persevered with a belief of caring for others. Also from India, Prem L. Bhatia helped establish the Bhatia Foundation, Inc. which offers aid to students in need. The Bhatia Foundation Mathematics Scholarship available to a full-time, degree seeking student majoring in mathematics with a concentration in mathematics education. Minimum G.P.A. of 3.5 and must be a rising junior or senior. Financial need is a consideration.
