Laura Dyar Journalism Scholarship

Established in 2002 by Ken and Rachel Rhodes-Dyar, the Laura Dyar Journalism Scholarship is available to students pursuing a major in journalism who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Both Ken and Rachel are Georgia Southern alumni with degrees in Political Science and Journalism, respectively. This scholarship was made in honor of Ken’s grandmother, Laura Dyar, who had a passion for literature and a friend in Gone with the Wind author, Margaret Mitchell.
