Dale Eric Sundholm Scholarship
Established by the parents of Dale Eric Sundholm, the Dale Eric Sundholm memorializes the short, yet impactful life of Statesboro High School student Dale Sundholm. Born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1968, Dale lived a worldly life having lived in New Orleans and Puerto Rico before settling in Statesboro with his family. Though he was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of two, this didn’t impede him from exploring his passions in sailing, computers, soccer, and tennis. Dale is remembered as a fun-loving and caring individual who looked past the status-quo high school life tried to established. This scholarship is available to a graduating senior from Statesboro High school. The applicant’s academic record, demonstrated talents, and motivating interests will be considered. The scholarship will be presented at Statesboro High School’s Honor Night.
