Sally T. Gershman Scholarship in History

Established in 1994, the Sally T. Gershman Scholarship in History was created in honor of the late Dr. Sally T. Gershman by her children, Dyan and Michael Gershman. A New York City native, Dr. Gershman taught French history at Georgia Southern University from 1980 to 1992. This scholarship is available to full-time students majoring in History at the undergraduate (junior or senior) level or pursuing a graduate degree in History, in each case who have a special interest in either French history or European women’s history. Eligible applicants must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
