Col. Charles L. and Mary G. Collins ROTC Leadership Schol
This scholarship was established in 2004 by Col. Charles L. Collins. Collins was born in Ellabell, Georgia in 1925 and served in World War II. He graduated from Armstrong College in 1950 with a degree in Liberal Arts. The Colonel Charles L. and Mary G. Collins ROTC Leadership Fund is used to support the ROTC program on the Armstrong Campus. Income from the endowment may be used to award scholarships to ROTC students with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater; an ROTC GPA of 3.0 or greater; and who are able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test (as per Army regulation 600-9). Recipients must: be 31 years of age or younger during the calendar year of commissioning or have received an age waiver from the Department of the Army; be a citizen of the United States; maintain full-time status as either an undergraduate or graduate student.
